The Kangals offered in America did not meet our standard.

We set out to find true, working-line Kangals—dogs that possessed the authentic phenotype, bone structure, and primitive drive of their ancestors. What we found domestically fell short.

We went straight to the source and acquired two authentic Kangal puppies, naming them Demir and Asena. But the international transport process is fundamentally broken. Due to irresponsible logistics and handling during transit, both puppies contracted Parvovirus and died.

That was the catalyst. We vowed to never let another Kangal die because of a fractured supply chain or substandard practices. We built our own pipeline to ensure these dogs are bred, managed, and transported with absolute precision.

In Turkish, "Demir" means Iron.

In honor of the boy we lost, we established Iron Kangals. Based in New Mexico, we refuse to gamble with third-party logistics. We personally oversee the shipping and transport of every single dog to ensure they arrive healthy, secure, and ready to work. We exist to provide the uncompromising, authentic Turkish bloodlines that we originally set out to find—delivered without the risk, and without the gatekeeping.
